2009 SIAP Election Result

SIAP Board of Directors 2009 Election were held on December 4, 2008, 7:00 PM at Yahoo Center Community Room, 2500 Broadway St., Santa Monica, CA 90404.  SIAP Board of Directors Candidates were:

First Mr. Hashem Modjarrab talked about election and voting process followed by Mr. Esfandiary presenting 2008 budget and SIAP income and expenses.  Mr. Abdi Ziai also talked about SIAP activities in 2008.  Then each candidate introduced themselves and their plans.  It started with Mr. Shahram Shokoufandeh and he presented his plan with a diagram chart. (Please click here to view the chart).  Ms. Yeditsion also presented her plan for SIAP followed by Mr. Pooya Goudarzi and Ms. Nima Doff.  Unfortunately Mr. Hedvat due to some personal engagement was not able to be present.  After candidates' presentation, voting paper distributed among present members and they cast their votes.

This is to acknowledge and certify that the following list represent the true revised classes among SIAP members as well as Election Result in 2009:

Mr. Majid Falamaki will retire after serving two years as VP and President.  Mr.  Hashem Modjarrab will serve as President for 2009 and Mr. Iraj Yamin Esfandiary will serve his second year ar treasurer .  New Board of Directors will choose one among themselves as new secreatary.  Mr. Modjarrab the new SIAP president will hold the first SIAP board meeting on December 11, 2008.
