The Following is the Minutes of SIAP Board of Directors meeting on 04/26/2007

Present members:

1. Bijan Armandpour
2. Mohammad Borghei
3. Shahram Shokoufandeh
4. Abdi Ziai
5. Iraj Esfandiari
6. Hashem Modjarrab

 Agenda:

• Membership Committee Program
• Education Committee Program
• Research Committee Program

Regarding the cancellation of Nowruz some members commented about future programs and how to organize a better Nowruz with more cultural and artistic aspect for entertainments.  Members asked that SIAP Treasurer provide account statement and financial report for SIAP account

These items discussed among members:

Membership:

Members proposed to expose SIAP more into City officials, prepare a list of Iranian professional to approach them individually, find a way to have more public view and offer some service to public, i.e. counseling, share database, website services, etc.

Research Committee:

Bijan & Shahram formed a research committee to provide some lectures regarding architecture and well known Architects.

Event Committee:

Members suggest the The Event committee provide a list for all monthly meetings and event for the entire year.

These event were tentatively scheduled for events:

Hamid Eshragh                May 9th            Paris Architectural Society

Real Estate Litigation Seminar        May 9th        Combined with above lecture
