Thursday January 11, 2007 is the Election date for our Board Of Directors for the year 2007.

We are seeking your nomination as a board member. Please reply by Nov. 30, 2006 and note that five vacancies will be decided. Two of nominees will be substitute members. I, Bijan Armandpour and our treasurer, Rosemary Shokoufandeh, will serve another year to form seven required members of the Board. I urge you to take this matter seriously by considering your candidacy.

SIAP will invite you for a Dinner meeting on Thursday November 30th, 2006, 7PM at Colorado Community Room, 2500 Broadway St., Santa Monica, CA 90404. Please bring this form with your proposal to the meeting for your candidacy.

SIAP needs new active members and I know that many of us have ideas and suggestions to improve our association. Please fill out the attached Comment/ Proposal Form for the coming year program as a board member. If your proposed program requires an amendment to our Bylaws, we will take votes for all qualified amendments.

Items that receive endorsement from at least three members will qualify to appear in the ballot. Approval will require two-third of the votes count.
