An Evening with Noushin Ehsan, AIA
Ms. Ehsan recently has launched a new business initiative called
2nd Opinion Design
with the aim of providing an unbiased, fresh look to design projects.

  The presentation of “The Spirit of Space,” incorporates a spiritual and practical approach to designed space “built environment” and is structured to be informative to professional and the general public. The talk will include summaries of the elements in architecture that uplift the spirit and foster sustainable environments. Using pertinent examples and visual aids Ms. Ehsan will demonstrate how elements such as: harmony, proportion, light, cohesiveness of thought and proper use of materials can create a holistic space.

    Ms. Ehsan, AIA  is a licensed architect with over 35 years of international experience. In October of 2007, Ms. Ehsan launched a new business initiative called 2nd Opinion Design with the aim of providing an unbiased, fresh   look to design projects.  In 1985, she founded Accessible Architecture, PC, where she first developed the concept of “The Spirit of Space.” Prior to that, for over ten years she was the president of B.E.B Consultants with offices in New York, London, Paris and Tehran.  She has a Master in Architecture and Urban Design from UCLA and Bachelor in Architecture from University of Tehran.

    Ms. Ehsan has taught at both Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York and the London North East Polytechnic Institute in England.  She also served as an Adjunct Professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
