In
our modern society we are bombarded with images from a plethora of
sources competing for our attention. We also live in a society that encourages
speed. Images come and go
devoid of meaning that gives them value.
Consequently, we look at more images and yet see less.
Many of us fail to realize that in the mundane fleeting moments
of our daily living reside significant moments that mostly go unnoticed.
In my life as a photographer, these moments construct my artwork.
Interacting with the natural phenomena, such as the blue sky and
light, ordinary objects are transformed into treasure chests of
beautiful images. The photographs that are the outcome of these moments
create a new reality. The
goal is to emphasize that there are different dimensions to each object
and that the “whole” is made of many smaller and yet complete
components.
