Society of Iranian Architects and Planners
Date: April 15, 1999
Place: MGM Plaza, Santa Monica, CA
Time: 7:30 to 9:30 PM

1- Publication

Mohammad Borghei to verify status with Iraj Esfandiary and report to the Board- Publication committee needs more support from members to accomplish it's task.
2- EVENTS
- Mohammad Gharavi stated that the accounting for SIAP's Nowrooz Party shows
$122.27 past provided budget.- Mohammad Borghei to call Mehrdad Yazdani and Mehrdad Farivar to request for presentation /lecture.
- Mohammad Gharavi to arrange for round table discussion meeting of all interested members.
3- EDUCATION
- Mehran Ghaffari to ask committee chair to report to the Board for committee's activities.
4- WEB SITE
- Shahin Azmoudeh stated that the SIAP's web site program is in progress as scheduled.
- Check Iranian web sites to be used for SIAP's anouncements.
5- PUBLIC RELATION
- Mohammad Borghei & Iraj Esfandiary to follow up contacts with radio and TV for
air time.6- OTHER ISSUES
- SIAP's elected inspectors to participate in Board meetings. Daneshvar to follow up.- Shahin Azmoudeh to sign SIAP's bank account documents. Contact with
Hashem Modjarrab.- First and Third Thursday of each month to be scheduled for Board meetings,
unless otherwised required in upfront meetings. Motion to be taken in
next meeting.Next meeting shall be on May 6, 1999, at 7.00PM and shall be conducted by Mohammad
Gharavi.NEXT MEETING AGENDA:
- Publication Issues
- Written reports by Committee Chairs to be summarized and sent to all SIAP
members.
- Motion for twice a month Board meeting.
- Letter-head and Logo, pending from last meeting.
