Meeting No.4- 2005,

1 - Are we ready for Feb. Monthly meeting?

Agenda items:
HM chaired the meeting and MM took notes.

1- Are we ready for Feb. Monthly Meeting?

Sima had the food and beverages ready. MM will conduct the meeting. M. Gharavi will introduce the feature speaker.

2- DJ, singer, or both at No-Ruz party?

2-1 Sima reported that she already singed contract with Double Tree Hotel in Santa Monica. Cost of Food, including the soft drink will be $50.00 p.p Music band from Argentine has $1,500.00 charge, DJ at $500.00, mailing $300.00, misc. @ $300.00 are other major cost items. Since Sima had already confirmed the band, Broad decided to use them but rejected DJ. Sima will look for friends who have Persian CD’s to be played by using the equipment form the band.

2-2 Board approved to offer the ticket price at $50.00 if the remaining cost will be covered by event sponsors. MN, IYE, and Sima will report next time.

2-3 Sima asked everyone to bring list of their guests by the next meeting.

3 - Other Agenda Item:
No time left for more items. At 7:00 pm, meeting got interrupted by arrival of the guests for SIAP monthly meeting. Board was adjourned despite an emergency item presented by HM to participate in the event by S. Shajarian, Iranian singer, on Sat. Feb. 26, 2005 and at Disney Concert Hall to raise fund for the victims of BAM Earthquake.
