Meeting No. 2- 2005,

The following are the minutes of the SIAP 2005 Board of Directors meeting No. 2.

Date: Jan. 20, 2005 at 7:00 pm
Location: Colorado Center Community Room, 2500 Broadway Santa Monica 90404

Present:

6- Mohammad Moayery (MM)
7- Ali Amani (AA)

Agenda items:

· Public gathering time for SIAP meetings will be between 7:00 and 7:30.

· Self introduction by one new member and SIAP program announcements

· At meetings, there shall be a person to direct the proceedings of the program.

· There shall be no breaks during a speaker’s speech.

· 15 minutes should be allotted for questions and answers after the speech.

· Program director should have a format ready.

· Two people must be responsible for printing and distributing flyers.

· The flyers should be sent two weeks before the program.

· Financial reports must be detailed.

· MM accepts to be the conductor of the January 27, 2005 event.

· Other art groups can participate in the Noruz party only under SIAP control.

· SH to be responsible for coordinating the Noruz party; IYE will help her.

· Board meetings will occur twice a month: one on the first Thursday of the month and the second on the third Thursday of the month (event day), each at 6 PM.
