The followings are the minutes of the SIAP Board of Director's meeting number 49-A

Present:

Mohammad Reza Borghei (MRB)
Iraj Yamin Esfandiari (IYE)

Items reviewed and discussed:

1- Establishing budget for SIAP ADS

- Source of appropriate publication not found yet (MM)

- Radio 670 AM is a good source (IYE)

- Every member is to search for good quality weekly or monthly publication (public) for SIAP ads.

2- July 8th is set for members general meeting with dinner. (HM) is in charge.

3- Mehrdad Farivar is confirmed to be SIAP guest speaker for July monthly event (MRB).

4- A panel discussion was proposed to address “L.A. Iranian Architecture” for the month of August SIAP event. (IYE) and (MRB) will follow-up.

5- (MRB) gave a brief report to the Board regarding the “Beverly Hills Palace” issue and positive response from LA Times and Radio 670 AM to the SIAP letters.

Next meeting shall be on July 15, 2004, 6:30 pm at Colorado Center to review procedure

for coordination of the proposed Architectural panel.
