California Building Codes 2016*

Los Angeles, CA., Resource.org is a non profit organization in Sevastopol, CA, advocating Codes and Laws to be available online. As of December 8, 2016, they have provided California Building Code 2016 on their server. Effective Jan 2017, Most Cities in California would adopt CBC 2016 and the rest will adopt it by middle of 2017.

Last decade, a lawsuit made mandatory codes ACCESSIBLE to public or purchased through publications. Resouce.org was one of those volunteers to make these codes to be downloadable since CBC 2007 and just last week, they have made PDF links to CBC 2016.

City of Vallejo, CA, also made a link to most Significant Changes to the 2016 California Building Standards Codes that can be viewed at their website.
